First Entry

I don't know where to begin, so I'll just start. I'm Peter's brother-in-law, and I've lived near Peter and his family for the past eight years. His son, Caleb, is my son's best friend, and they have played together and grown together all these years.

I'm sitting in Peter's bedroom right now, hanging with him. I say "hanging" though Peter is no longer speaking, just lying on his back and kinda staring off into space. It's unclear what he can perceive, but it doesn't matter. We're here for him, whatever is going on.

Peter,

As long as you and I have known each other, you have always been kind and gentle with everyone that you know. I loved hearing your guitar when I was able to get up early enough for the 9:00 a.m. service at St. Michael's.

Peter, bringer of faith and love, please know that everybody who knows you loves you, and appreciates you going forth to do a little recon for the rest of us -- from the many close talks we have had . . . the wonders we speak and pray for . . . and for the rewards we will find when we reach the ultimate Kingdom -- and are welcomed by Our Lord himself, seated at the right hand of God. The wonders, the eternal happiness, and the glory are now being laid at your feet.

Bless you my loved friend. I look forward to being with you again at our first, last and eternal CRHP meeting.

Love,

Pat Roeling

Peter, bringer of faith and love, please know that everybody who knows you loves you, and we already miss you greatly. Now, you have reached the Heavenly Kingdom and have been welcomed by Our Lord himself. The wonders, the eternal happiness, and the glory are now laid at your feet.

Bless you my loved friend. I look forward to being with you again at our first, last and eternal CRHP meeting.

Love,
